The sacraments are not milestones we pass and move on from, they are encounters with God that shape a lifetime of faith.
Through the sacraments, God meets us in visible, tangible ways, forming us from the inside out. They anchor belief in real experience and remind us that faith is not just something we think about, but something we live, receive, and return to again and again.
In faith formation, particular attention is given to the sacraments that mark growth and maturity in the Christian life: Confirmation, which strengthens and sends us and the Eucharist, which nourishes us week after week. Along the way, Reconciliation teaches us how to return, be healed, and begin again.
These sacraments don’t simply complete a program, they form a rhythm for living the faith. They teach us who we are, who God is, and how grace continues to meet us at every stage of the journey.
